Privacy policy
This policy explains how Simon Says Systems, the operator of WarnFire (“WarnFire,” “we,” or “us”), processes information when organizations and their authorized users use the WarnFire website, service, and mobile application.
Information we collect
- Account and contact information: name, email address, telephone number when supplied, organization, role, and authentication records.
- Device and application information: an installation identifier, native push token, app version, platform, locale, notification state, and security or diagnostic events needed to operate the app.
- Incident and operational content: event payloads, summaries, descriptions, labels, metadata, links, status changes, acknowledgements, resolution notes, assistance invitations, response reasons, schedules, teams, policies, and activity history submitted by customers or their systems.
- Service activity: request times, correlation identifiers, security events, delivery outcomes, and limited network information needed for reliability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
- Billing information: subscription identifiers, plan, status, and transaction metadata supplied by our billing provider. WarnFire does not store full payment-card numbers.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users; ingest, correlate, deliver, acknowledge, update, and resolve incidents; operate schedules and escalation policies; deliver push, email, SMS, voice, or connected-service notifications when configured; provide support; secure and monitor the service; administer subscriptions; comply with law; and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information or use WarnFire data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How information is shared
Information may be processed by infrastructure, database, workflow, push-notification, communications, email, billing, error-monitoring, and support providers only as needed to deliver configured features. WarnFire uses Sentry to process sanitized crash diagnostics such as stack frames, application version, operation category, status code, and correlation identifier; we configure this integration not to send user identity, authorization data, request bodies, incident content, URLs, or interaction breadcrumbs. An organization's administrators and authorized responders can access information according to their roles. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate protections.
Retention and deletion
We retain account, incident, audit, and configuration records for the period selected by the customer or reasonably necessary to provide and secure the service. Delivery and diagnostic records are retained for a limited operational period. Backups expire through their normal rotation. When an authorized user deletes an account or tenant, WarnFire deletes or de-identifies associated information unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, billing, dispute resolution, or law.
Security
WarnFire uses access controls, tenant isolation, encryption in transit, encryption or hashing for sensitive credentials, audit history, and operational monitoring. No system is perfectly secure; customers must protect their credentials and integration keys and promptly report suspected misuse.
Your choices
Depending on your relationship with WarnFire and applicable law, you may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information. Account deletion can be initiated in the mobile application. Tenant owners can manage tenant deletion through authorized controls. Visit Privacy choices for instructions.
International processing and children
WarnFire may process information where we and our service providers operate, subject to appropriate safeguards. WarnFire is a business incident-response service and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will publish the effective date and provide additional notice when legally required. Privacy questions may be sent to privacy@warnfire.com.
